I have been working with pharmaceutical R&D in the field of contrast agents for medical imaging for more than 25 years. I have been working with all type of contrast agents (X-ray, MR, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, optical). My main focus has been within biochemistry, metabolism and bioanalysis of these agents and I have been author/co-author of more than 40 published articles in this area.
Before joining the pharmaceutical company I was working with basic research in the field of protein chemistry and enzymology for 10 years at the University of Bergen. I was author/co-author of 24 papers during this period; 20 of these dealing with dopamine beta-monooxygenase; 9 of which were included in my dissertation (dr. philos.).
